Hi, I'm Joe!
As far back as I can remember, I have been fascinated by how things work. As a kid, instead of playing with my toy trucks or remote-controlled cars, I would take them apart, then spend hours meticulously putting them back together. I have always been intrigued with what could be accomplished by my hands and a little courage. My first car – a 1973 Volkswagen Beetle – was drivable for about two weeks before a perpetual oil leak led me to discover a massive crack in the engine block. Outwardly I was disappointed that my $700 investment might be squandered. Secretly I was thrilled at the idea of dismantling and rebuilding the engine. I was 16 years old, with my father’s hand tools and a mild notion of internal combustion.
This ceaseless curiosity led me to earn a Bachelors degree from California State University, Long Beach. In subsequent years, I would study Construction Management at University of California, Riverside and Sustainable Business Practices at University of California, San Diego. I am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and have been a licensed contractor since 2007. I have extensive experience in residential, commercial and civil construction, and I have contacts for almost every trade in any industry.
